Hand crafted. It simply has nice ring to it. It conjures up a vision of quality and longevity and instills pride in ownership. I have been searching high and low for quality products to offer in my Studio. I’ve scanned through many, many photography warehouse sites in the hopes of finding something that I feel good offering to you, my remarkable clients. I’m not looking for trendy products because I know that they don’t stand the test of time. I am talking about some tried and true pieces but with maybe a little modern twist to them.
“I want you to see yourself as a work of art. A stunning masterpiece to be cherished for all time.”
I love photography printed on canvas. But not just any canvas, the product I carry is hand crafted here on Vancouver Island. They are well made, printed on a luxurious thick canvas and with attention to detail. They’re even shipped in a box hand cut that exactly fits each order. I’ve tried other producers but keep coming back to this one because the quality is so important to me.
I am developing a signature print on handmade paper from Japan. For 8 generations a family of artisans have been creating sumptuous bamboo paper; you’ll instantly recognize it as an heirloom piece when you see the added warmth and texture that is complementary to a portrait. It takes a photograph to the next level.
